Website Design

Before I evaluate any design project, I need to determine what it will entail. What are your goals, your likes, dis-likes?
Some questions I would like you to have ready to answer when we meet are:

1. How many pages will need to be created?
2. Are there images and/or design that need to be used, or will they be created as part of the project?
3. Is there content for the site, or will that be written by the designer?
4. Will there be any Flash, multimedia, programming or scripting required? Depending on the answer to these questions your price may be higher or it may stay at the flat rate of $300 for a basic website.
5. When do you want the project completed? The more urgent a project is, the more the project will cost. I would like to agree to an accelerated schedule, so that it's one I can meet.
6. How much long-term maintenance is required? This all depends on how much maintenance you will be needing. If you just need hosting I charge $30/mo.
   Often, when a Web site is commissioned, my clients have not thought beyond just getting the page up on the site. As a Web designer, I make sure that you have maintenance covered. If you expect you or your company to cover it, you should probably get a separate contract for that aspect of the job.
7. What is the going rate? All of my sites START at $300.
   You will find this price very reasonable.The price is always difficult to determine without seeing and actually speaking with you and finding out what your needs and wants are.
